Schools & Pre-Schools in Western and N/Western provinces to be closed

COLOMBO (News 1st); All schools, pre-schools, and piriven institutions in the Western Province and the North Western Province will remain closed until the 30th of April 2021, ordered Education Minister Professor G. L. Peiris on Monday (26).

In a video statement, the Education Minister said if any decision is reached with regard to the other areas of the country, such a decision would be announced officially. "We urge parents and students to follow health guidelines in schools that will remain open," stressed the Education Minister.
