3,243 people tested positive for COVID-19 so far in April - NOCPCO

Colombo (News 1st); 3,243 people had tested positive for COVID-19 so far in the month of April, said the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak on Saturday (17).

From the 01st of April to the 16th of April, a total of 846 COVID-19 cases were reported from the Colombo District, said the NOCPCO. During the same period, 432 people tested positive for the coronavirus from the Jaffna District while 323 people contracted COVID-19 from the Gampaha District.
