Price of Brown Sugar reduced by Rs. 10

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Ceylon Sugar Corporation has reduced the price of Brown Sugar by Rs. 10. Consumers can purchase Brown Sugar at Rs. 115 per kilo, Janaka Wakkumbura, the State Minister of Development of Minor Crops and Export Promotion told News 1st on Wednesday (Apr. 07). "Brown Sugar will be issued to Sathosa outlets at Rs. 110 per kilo and Sathosa has been informed to sell Brown Sugar at Rs. 115 in order to provide relief to the consumers during the festive season," State Minister Janaka Wakkumbura pointed out.
