(VIDEO) Sirisena disappointed over Cardinal's comments

Colombo (News 1st); Former President Maithripala Sirisena on Monday (05) said he is disappointed over the statement made by Archbishop of Colombo His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith on Sunday (04).

His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith accused former president Maithripala Sirisena of shirking his responsibilities and acting irresponsibly over the April 21st attacks, that occurred under his presidency. When reporters questioned Sirisena on the Cardinal's comments, the former said very little and left. "There was a Prime Minister and Ministers in that government. Yet, only then-President Sirisena is being held responsible.
