Justice Sobitha Rajakaruna appointed to Special PCoI

Colombo (News 1st); Court of Appeal Judge Sobitha Rajakaruna was appointed to the Special Presidential Commission of Inquiry appointed to Implement the Recommendations of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry on Incidents of Political Victimization. CA Judge Sobitha Rajakaruna was appointed replacing Court of Appeal Justice Ratnapriya Gurusinghe. Through the issuance of an extraordinary gazette, President Gotabaya Rajapaksa on the 29th of January 2021 appointed the Special Presidential Commission of Inquiry to look into the recommendations of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry on Incidents of Political Victimization and report back to the President.
