Duo convicted of 1997 murder sentenced to death

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Tangalle High Court on Thursday (Mar. 25) handed down the death sentence on two suspects convicted of murder by clubbing to death an individual. The two suspects aged 48 and 66 years are residents of Heenara, Weeraketiya, and Hakuruwela. The Attorney-General had filed the case against the duo pertaining to the murder of an individual during a family dispute in Gurumadiththa on the 10th of March 1997.
