Samabima Party enters the political sphere

COLOMBO (News1st): A new political party named Samabima was launched today. "The leaders elected to parliament do not know how to govern this country," Deepthi Kumara Gunerathne, the general secretary of the Samabima party said. He pointed out that there were flaws in previous administrations including that of former prime minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. "This country has reached a point where actors and actresses and trade union leaders govern the country," Gunerathne noted. The general secretary insisted that the entire political and governance structure of this country needs to be changed.
