Home Delivery Service of Medicines ends today (10): Dept. of Posts

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Department of Posts on Wednesday (Mar. 10), announced that the home delivery service of medicines, dispensed from hospital clinics will not be available from tomorrow (Mar. 11) onwards. Under this program, which was launched in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, 1.7 million parcels of medicine were delivered to households, Rajitha Ranasinghe, the Deputy Post-Master General told News 1st. The delivery service of medicines has incurred a sum of Rs. 170 million.
