Hirunika appears in court after warrant issued for her arrest

A warrant was issued for the arrest of 

Premachandra

 for failing to appear in the court when the case with regard to the abduction of a youth using a defender SUV in 

Dematagoda

 was called up today.

However, the warrant was recalled by the High Court Judge after the former Parliamentarian appeared in court, several moments later with counsel.

The Attorney-at-Law appearing for 

Hirunika

Premachandra

 told the court, that her client visited the court premises with her new-born child on Wednesday (10) morning and apologized for entering the courtroom late.

The case will be called up again on the 17th of July and Hirunika Premachandra was advised by the court, to ensure she is present in court in time.
