Education Ministry wants to re-open schools on 15th March; seeks DGHS permission

Colombo (News 1st); The Education Ministry had requested the Director General of Health Services to permit the re-opening of schools in the Western Province on the 15th of March.

Education Secretary Professor Kapila Perera speaking to News 1st said discussions on re-opening schools are underway, adding priority will be given to resuming classes for Grades 05, 11 and 13 while the rest of the classes will resume thereafter.
