Fire erupts at Ravana Ella forest reserve

COLOMBO (News1st): A fire erupted atop the Demodara mountain in the Ravana Ella forest reserve this evening.
Our correspondent reported that the fire had erupted at around 3 pm and had destroyed around 10 acres of land in the mountain.
The fire is reported to have spread rapidly due to the dry weather in the area.
