Northern political leaders meet US ambassador

COLOMBO (News1st): Political leaders in the Northern province held talks with US Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Alaina B. Teplitz, in Kokuvil, Jaffna today. Leader of the Illankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi, Mavai Senathirajah, Senior Deputy Leader C. V. K. Sivagnanam and MP Sivagnanam Shritharan joined the discussion. "We discussed the resolution that will be presented at the UNHRC session in Geneva," Shritharan said He added that the contributions of the Tamil community had also figured during the discussion.
