COVID fatalities in Sri Lanka climbs to 435 with 02 deaths on Saturday (20)

Colombo (News 1st); The Director General of Health Services confirmed two (02) deaths caused by Covid-19 virus infection on Saturday (20) and the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 435. 01.The deceased is a 66 year old male from Kuruwita. He was diagnosed as infected with Covid-19 and transferred from Apeksha Hospital Maharagama to IDH Hospital where he died on 19.02.2021, The cause of death is mentioned as respiratory failure, Blood Poisoning, Covid pneumonia and a cancer. 02.The deceased is a 78 year old male from Thihariya. He was diagnosed as infected with Covid-19 and transferred from District Hospital Gampaha to Base Hospital Homagama where he died on 20.02.2021. The Cause of death is mentioned as Covid pneumonia
