Professor Channa Jayasumana appointed as Acting Health Minister

COLOMBO (News 1st): Professor Channa Jayasumana has been appointed as the Acting Minister of Health. Professor Jayasumana was sworn in as the new Acting Minister of Health at the Presidential Secretariat this morning. According to the President's Media Division, Channa Jayasumana has been appointed as Acting Minister until Minister of Health - Pavithra Wanniararchchi reports back to work. The Minister who was receiving treatment for COVID-19 at the IDH and was discharged today.
