Colombo (News 1st); The Director General of Health Services confirmed eight (08) deaths caused by Covid-19 virus infection on Saturday (06).
Accordingly, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 351 and the details of Saturday's deceased are as follows;

77-year-old female from Kochchikade. She was diagnosed as infected with Covid 19 virus and transferred from District Hospital Negombo to the IDH Hospital where she died on 06.02.2021. The Cause of death is mentioned as shock due to blood poisoning, Covid pneumonia and acute kidney disease.
02.The deceased
was
a
73-year-old female from Kadawatha. She was diagnosed as infected with Covid 19 virus and transferred from Colombo North Teaching Hospital to the Base Hospital
Mulleriyawa
where she died on 05.02.2021. The Cause of death is mentioned as heart disease, Covid pneumonia and acute kidney disease.

56-year-oldmale from Moratuwa. He was diagnosed as infected with Covid 19 virus and transferred from Colombo South Teaching Hospital to the Base Hospital

where he died on 05.02.2021. The Cause of death is mentioned as Covid pneumonia and a cancer.

to the District Hospital Dankotuwa where he died on 06.02.2021. The Cause of death is mentioned as disorders of the heart and respiratory system due to Covid infection, a cancer and a complicated liver disease.

85-year-oldmale from Colombo 14. He died on 04.02.2021 on admission to the General Hospital Colombo. The Cause of death is mentioned as Covid pneumonia.

82-year-oldfemale from Colombo 13. She was diagnosed as infected with Covid 19 virus and transferred from General Hospital Colombo to the Base Hospital

where she died on 05.02.2021. The Cause of death is mentioned as Covid Pneumonia, acute diabetes and kidney failure.

76-year-old female from Maharagama. She was diagnosed as infected with Covid 19 virus and transferred from a privet hospital in Colombo to the Base Hospital

, where she died on 04.02.2021. The Cause of death is mentioned as damaged kidneys due to complicated kidney disease and Covid pneumonia

48-year-old male from Mundalama. He died on 05.02.2021 while undergoing treatments at
