Colombo (News 1st); Over 45% of COVID-19 deaths in Sri Lanka after the 04th of October 2020 are of those who are 71-years or above, reported the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).
As of 04th February 2021, 339 COVID-19 deaths were reported in Sri Lanka.
13 of these deaths were reported before the 04th of October 2020, which is are from the 01st wave, and the remaining 326 were reported after the 04th of October 2020, which is the 02nd wave.
