Iranian President Sees Bright Future for Iran-Sri Lanka Ties

Colombo (News 1st); President of Iran Hassan Rouhani congratulated Sri Lanka on its national day, saying he has confidence that the friendly relations with the South Asian country will grow in various fields.

In a message to his Sri Lankan counterpart Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Rouhani congratulated the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on Independence Day. He also expressed confidence that the friendly ties and cooperation between Iran and Sri Lanka will grow in various fields within the mutual interests of the two nations and in line with the political resolve of the two countries’ leaders.
