89 SRI LANKANS DIED IN MIDDLE-EAST FROM COVID-19

Colombo (News 1st); The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment said 89 Sri Lankans have died in the middle-east due to COVID-19 infection.
SLBFE Deputy General Manager Mangala Randeniya speaking to News 1st said 45,000 Sri Lankan expatriate workers were repatriated to the country, and 32,000 of them are from the middle-east.
Another 48,000 Sri Lankan expatriate workers await repatriation from the middle-east, he said adding globally that figure is north of 60,000.
