PRICES OF VEGETABLES INCREASE AGAIN

COLOMBO (News 1st): Prices of Vegetables in the country have increased yet again, Traders Union at the Dambulla Dedicated Economic Center said on Friday (Dec. 25). According to Channa Erewwala, the Chairperson of the Traders Union at the Dambulla Dedicated Economic Center, the cause for the price increase is fewer vegetable stocks reaching the market. The prices of more than 100 vegetables have thus increased since early this week.
