COLOMBO(News1st): The National Elections Commission has instructed the Ministry of Local Government and Provincial Councils to immediately rectify shortcomings in the Provincial Councils Act. Due to these shortcomings, many problems have arisen in re-appointing members to fill the positions, Chairman of the Election Commission Attorney-at-Law Nimal Punchihewa stated.
