Colombo (News 1st); The Director-General of Health Services confirmed two (02) deaths caused by the Covid-19 virus infection and accordingly the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 infection in Sri Lanka is 142.
01. A 62-year-old male resident of Colombo whose exact residence has not been reported. He was transferred from General Hospital Colombo to Base Hospital Homagama where he died on 07.12.2020. The cause of death is Covid pneumonia.
02. A 77-year-old male from Jampata Street, He was transferred from General Hospital Colombo to Base Hospital Homagama where he died on 07.12.2020. The cause of death is blood poisoning with Covid-19 virus infection and diabetes.
