In the event, the water supply has been suspended to anyone in areas that are isolated, due to the delay in payment of bills, they are advised to inform the Water Board.
Meanwhile, the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has also decided not to suspend the supply of power, despite the delay in payment of bills.
"The CEB will not to suspend the power supply over the failure to settle bills on time, given the prevailing situation, especially with regard to areas under isolation due to COVID-19," Vijitha Herath, the Chairman of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) noted.
