Colombo (News 1st); 635 COVID-19 cases were reported on Wednesday (11) said the Department of Government Information.
625 of these cases were closed contacts of the Peliyagoda Cluster and the other 10 cases were returnees from the United Arab Emirates.
The total number cases from the Minuwangoda and Peliyagoda clusters (Second Wave) rose to 11,858.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Sri Lanka is at 15,350 of which 10,183 have recovered in full.
Only 5,121 patients are being treated in hospitals.
The COVID-19 death toll in Sri Lanka is 46, as 05 deaths were reported on Wednesday (11).
