36th COVID-19 death reported in Sri Lanka

Colombo (News 1st); The 36th COVID-19 death was reported in Sri Lanka on Monday (09) evening, said the Government Information Department.
According to a statement the victim was a 84 year old female who was receiving treatment at a private hospital and was transferred to IDH.
The Department of Government Information said she was ill for a prolonged period and and the cause of death was ruled as COVID-19 related pneumonia.
