PCR tests conducted in Welikada Prison as COVID-19 cases rise

COLOMBO(News1st); PCR tests were conducted on 196 inmates at the Welikada Prison.
Of these, 23 inmates had tested positive and were transferred to Welikanda Hospital, Prisons Commissioner Chandana Ekanayake said.
