Newlyweds in Mawanella exposed to COVID-19

Colombo (News 1st); 151 COVID-19 cases have been reported to-date from the Kegalle District, said Padmakumara Weerasinghe the Kegalle District Health Services Director on Thursday (05).
He said a wedding was held in Mawanella without obtaining permission recently, and following PCR tests it was revealed the couple was exposed to COVID-19.
Both of them were hospitalized and 120 close contacts were moved into quarantine, he added.
At present 32,031 people n the Kegalle District are in Quarantine.
