52 arrested for violating Quarantine/Police curfew

Colombo (News 1st); Sri Lanka Police arrested a total of 52 people for violating the Quarantine/Police curfew.
DIG Ajith Rohana speaking to News 1st said a majority of the arrests were made in Veyangoda.
The Quarantine/Police curfew is in effect across the Divulapitya, Minuwangoda, and Veyangoda police jurisdiction until further notice.
DIG Ajith Rohana said entry & exit in the said areas is strictly prohibited during the period of the Quarantine/Police curfew.
