7,484 people still in quarantine

45, 636 individuals sent back home after completing the quarantine period

Colombo (News 1st);  7,484 people in 77 tri-service-managed QCs are still in quarantine, states the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

On Sunday (27), 1410 PCR tests were carried out across the country and the total PCR tests conducted so far stands at 282,197.

By 6.00 this morning (27), the total number of detainees in quarantine at Kandakadu and Senapura Treatment and Rehabilitation Centres for Drug Addicts stands at 650.

The flight EK 648 from Dubai with 50 passengers and the flight UL 455 from Japan with 38 passengers have arrived.

The flight TST 2371 from Oman with 101 passengers was expected this morning (28) in Colombo.

All of those passengers were to be referred to Quarantine Centres, managed by tri-services after formalities at the airport.

Within the day (28), 606 quarantined individuals after PCR tests are set to leave for their homes.

45, 636 individuals by this morning (28) have been sent back home after completing the quarantine period.

By 6.00 this morning (28), the total number of fully recovered detainees in quarantine at Kandakadu and Senapura Treatment and Rehabilitation Centres for Drug Addicts stands at 648.

Of them, 02 infected individuals are still under treatment.
