Former CID Chief back at PCoI probing incidents of Political Victimization

Colombo (News 1st);  Former Director of the Criminal Investigations Department SSP Shani Abeysekera appeared at the Presidential Commission appointed to probe into incidents of Political Victimization.

This is with regard to a complaint made by Rear Admiral D. K. P. Dassanayake the Former Spokesperson of the Sri Lanka Navy with regard to the abduction and disappearance of 11 youth in 2008/2009.

Abeysekera was escorted to the Presidential Commission of Inquiry by Officers from the Department of Prisons.
