Opposition won't be idle : Sajith

COLOMBO (News1st): The opposition will work for the people and not remain idle, opposition leader Sajith Premadasa said on Saturday. "...we will wait and see whether the government is fulfilling its promises," Premadasa said during a public meeting in Colombo. He added that the opposition will congratulate the government if it fulfils its promises and would remind the people if it fails to do so. The opposition leader said his camp will support the government in its favourable activities and express strong objection towards the wrong. "We are an opposition that will work for the people," Premadasa said.
