Malaka Silva granted bail by Kaduwela Magistrate's Court

Colombo (News 1st); Ex-Minister Mervyn Silva's son Malaka Silva, who was arrested for attempting to obtain Rs. 100,000/- by force from a Thalangama Businessman and threatening him with death, was granted bail by the Kaduwela Magistrate's Court on Wednesday (12).
Malaka Silva was ordered to appear at the Kaduwela Magistrate's Court again on the 07th of October.
The Thalangama Police on Tuesday (11) arrested Malaka Silva, for threatening to kill a businessman living in the Thalangama Police Jurisdiction.
Sri Lanka Police said the businessman in question had filed a complaint with the Thalangama Police against Malaka Silva on the 16th of July 2020 for attempting to obtain Rs. 100,000/- by force and threatening him with death.
