Pussellawa Leopard Cub released back to the wild

Director-General of Wildlife Chandana Sooriyabandara said the decision was taken as the leopard cub was in good health and the area in which the cub was released will be constantly monitored by officials.

Yesterday, a female leopard and her cub were trapped in a snare, and sadly only the cub survived.

A post-mortem is to take place on the dead female leopard.
