SLPP won't exist if not for SLFP : Dayasiri

COLOMBO (News1st) : The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP)'s general secretary has said that the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) would not exist if not for their party. "We can stand with the SLPP on the problems of the country. That is because the SLFPers are with them," Dayasiri Jayasekara, the SLFP general secretary said. He made these remarks after declaring open the Maskeliya electorate office of the party on Friday. Jayasekara pointed out that the members of the SLFP would stand with the SLPP on the problems of the country, and to win the parliamentary election. He urged party supporters to remain straightforward in the face of problems.
