Ministry of Defence to reinstate officers of Sri Lanka Police and STF, who received orders of vacation of post

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Ministry of Defence is in the process to reinstate officers of Sri Lanka Police and Police Special Task Force, who have received orders of vacation of post. Cabinet of Ministers approved to reinstate such officers and the MoD is acting compliance with the cabinet approval. Accordingly, officers who had received orders of vacation of post as of 1st June 2009, and officers who had left services before 1st June 2009, will be reinstated under separate conditions. Appeals in this regard can be forwarded to the Ministry via registered post or mailed to [email protected] before 17th July," said the Ministry of Defence. Appeals could also be handed in person at the address, Ministry of Defence, 14th Floor - "Suhurupaya", Battaramulla. More details could be obtained via the official website of the Ministry of Defence.
