Colombo (News 1st); Recently, the guidelines to carry out public life and professional activities avoiding the spread of Covid-19, titled “Combat Covid-19 with a New Style of Life”, were released.
Gymnasiums were also issued with special instructions to re-open.
Accordingly, Gymnasiums are required to ensure the availability of required supplies such as masks and disinfectants and plan for the minimum number of staff to be available as per requirement.
Gymnasiums should also ensure all equipment is spaced to ensure a physical distance of at least 01 metre and when clients use adjacent equipment they never to face each other.
Further, Gymnasiums Management is strongly advised to educate instructors and staff on COVID-19 preventive measures and to always ensure social distancing is maintained.
Gymnasiums should also provide alcohol-based hand sanitizer for the use of clients and all clients must be registered.
