Pharmacies to be kept open in certain areas

COLOMBO (News1st): The government on Friday announced that pharmacies can be kept open daily from 9 am to 2 pm in certain areas. This provision would be granted to areas which have not been identified as high risk zones and in areas which are not under lockdown. Medicines in areas which have been identified as high risk zones should be purchased online or by telephone, the Presidential Task Force on Essential Services said. The districts of Colombo, Gampaha, Kalutara, Puttalam, Kandy and Jaffna have been declared as high risk zones for the spread of COVID - 19.
