Ambulance driver dies when transporting medicine for Covid-19 patients

COLOMBO (News 1st):- An ambulance driver died when the ambulance he was driving towards the Polonnaruwa base hospital had veered off the road in Gokaralla and knocked on a curb. The assistant in the ambulance had also sustained injuries and was admitted to the Polgolla Base hospital. The ambulance met with the accident when it was transporting special security attire and a stock of essential medicine from Colombo to treat Coronavirus patients. The deceased individual is a resident of Dodamgaslanda.
