Western Province Governor, Dr. Arambepola, hands in resignation

COLOMBO (News 1st): Dr. Seetha Arambepola, on Thursday (19th) stepped down as the Western Province Governor. "The decision to resign was made as my name has been added to the SLPP National List", Dr. Arembepola told Newsfirst on Thursday. Dr. Arambepola was appointed as the Governor of the Western Province, on the 25th of November 2019. President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, also appointed Dr. Arambepola, to the Task Force to combat COVID-19.
