Man arrested for defrauding over Rs 800,000 for foreign employment

COLOMBO (News 1st):- An individual who had defrauded money from several women on the pretence of providing foreign employment has been arrested at the Weerawila junction. The police said that this individual had defrauded over Rs. 800,000. Investigations revealed that the Bingiriya Magistrate Court had already issued two warrants against him. The suspect who is a resident of Tissamaharama is due to be produced before the Tissamaharama Magistrate Court today (March 8).
