Shasheendra Rajapaksa denies being summoned to CID over Airbus Scam

Colombo (News 1st) - Shasheendra Rajapaksa had addressed a letter to News1st regarding a statement made by Azath Sally yesterday (Feb 20) regarding the two sons of Chamal Rajapaksa. The letter notes that the comments made by Azath Sally are both false and misleading. Shasheendra Rajapaksa adds that neither him or his brother were summoned to the Criminal Investigations Department for the investigations into the controversial airbus deal. Rajapaksa accuses Azath Salley of making the statement with malice, to tarnish his reputation. He further adds that the comments were made with the intention of damaging his and his father's future political career.
