Wildlife officer arrested for posession of illegal firearms

COLOMBO (News 1st):- A wildlife official has been arrested for the possession of a T56 firearm and a repeater firearm in an illegal manner. The 31-year-old suspect, who is a resident of Sadungama, Dewara wewa is attached to the Bundala National Park. He was arrested following a raid conducted by wildlife officials. He is due to be presented before the Hambantota Magistrate for further investigation.
