Colombo (News 1st) - The party leaders representing Parliament are set to meet at 3pm today according to Sergeant-at-Arms Narendra Fernando.
According to reports from Parliament the party leaders are due to discuss whether phone recordings submitted to parliament by MP Ranjan Ramanayake should be made available to MPs. During the last meeting on Friday, the party leaders decided to edit the phone recordings in order to remove vulgar content and content which could affect national security before it is sent to the Parliament library.
The meeting is also set to focus on the upcoming debate on the Forensic Audit reports of the Central Bank. Parliament is set to convene on the 18th of this month at 1pm.
