Man injured in mortar bomb explosion at steel shop

COLOMBO (News 1st):- An individual was injured after a mortar bomb exploded at a steel shop in the Seelawaththa area in Mullaitivu. The injured victim has been identified as a 42-year old steel merchant. Our correspondent stated that he is currently receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of the Mancholai Hospital. Mullaitivu Police had recovered three shells and another explosive at the victim's residence. Further investigations are being carried out by the Mullaitivu Police.
