Foreign minister of Luxembourg arrives in Sri Lanka

Jean Asselborn, the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Luxembourg arrived in the country last night (Jan 30). 

Asselborn and his delegation was welcomed at the BIA by Foreign Secretary Ravinatha Aryasinghe. 

first high-level official visit from Luxembourg to Sri Lanka since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1972. During his visit Minister Jean Asselborn is due to meet with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa as well as his  Sri Lankan counterpart Minister Dinesh Gunawardene.
