Restricting Travel from China to SL Colombo (News 1st): People from 54 cities in China will NOT be permitted to travel to Sri Lanka without prior approval, the Immigration and Emigration Department said today. He stressed the Sri Lankan Embassy is operating 24/7 to support Sri Lankans living in China who wish to return to the country. The 01st confirmed case - The latest A 43-year-old Chinese woman who tested positive for symptoms of the Coronavirus yesterday, becoming the first confirmed case in the island nation, is receiving treatment in a quarantined ward at the Infectious Diseases Hospital.
