Accident in Hungama claims 4 lives and injures 20

Colombo (News 1st): Four died and 20 were injured when a lorry and a bus collided in Hungama along the Tangalle - Hambantota main road. The accident occurred at around 8.45 last night (Jan 19). The 20 injured were admitted to the Tangalle Base hospital yesterday, however, 2 of them have been transferred to the Matara General hospital today for further treatment. The bus driver and 3 others including a 3-year-old died as a result of the accident. The driver and the passengers of the lorry have also sustained injuries. The Hungama police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
