Org. Representative: A group that thinks neutrally, can work for the country and are not embroiled in corruption must be elected to parliament. We hold that view strongly. None of us have the intention of entering parliament.
Most Ven. Thibbatuwawe Sri Sumangala Thero: The party leaders must also be told about this.
Org. Representative: Yes.
Most Ven. Thibbatuwawe Sri Sumangala Thero: The party leaders are the ones who select the candidates. It is always the rich people who are selected.
Thereafter, the group visited the chief prelate of the Asgiriya Chapter of the Siam Sect Most Ven. Warakagoda Sri Gnanarathana Thero. The Thero noted that they must think about protecting the country because we do not have another. He added that there is a deep disappointment among the people.
