Colombo (News 1st): A suspect was arrested for the possession of a stock narcotics pills, intended to be sold to school children and youth. The Wariapola police arrested the suspect along with 13 900 narcotic pills which were hidden in a Coconut plantation. The plantation is believed to be owned by a Pharmacist.
Police said the street value of the narcotics pills is estimated to be Rs. 400,000. Investigations are being carried out against the pharmacist. The Police added that the recovered narcotic pills cannot be sold without prescriptions.
