Gampaha district water supply to be restored

Colombo (News 1st): The National Water Supply and Drainage Board states the water supply to several areas in the Gampaha District will be restored today around 4 pm. Water supply to these areas was suspended as a result of a power failure at the Biyagama Water Treatment Plant. The water for the Wattala, Peliyagoda, Ja-Ela, Seeduwa, Katunayake, Biyagama, Kelaniya areas will be restored this morning. The National Water Supply and Drainage Board stated the water supply for Dompe, Malwana, Enderamulla - Gongithota, Rathupaswala, Alwis Town, Wattala and Galahitiyawa areas would be restored in the evening.
