Special investigation on chemical waste that washed ashore in Wennapuwa

COLOMBO (News1st):- The Marine Environment Protection Authority has commenced a special investigation on the chemical waste that washed ashore at the Ulhitiyawa coast in Wennapuwa. General Manager of the Authority, Dr Terney Pradeep Kumara states that the chemical waste that was discovered in nine manure sacks was found on the 25th evening. The investigations have commenced to identify if this chemical waste was washed ashore from another country or if it was dumped by a certain individual.
